We strive to create an inclusive and supportive community. These values lie at the core of our research as well as our laboratory culture. The overarching goal of our studies is to find ways to support and empower neurodivergent youth so that they can grow, learn, and connect with others to become their best, authentic selves. We aim to conduct this work with a research team representing a variety of backgrounds and perspectives, and we encourage individuals from groups who have been traditionally underrepresented in academic medical departments to apply to work with us.
The Doyle Lab is located at Massachusetts General Hospital. Our offices are on the 6th floor of the Simches Building, 185 Cambridge Street, Boston, MA 02114. We are affiliated with both the Center for Genomic Medicine and Department of Psychiatry.

We are seeking a motivated undergraduate student to work as part of our team. The position would involve supervised participation in multiple facets of the research process. These variables will be used to map the longitudinal trajectories of symptoms, cognition and school and psychosocial functioning in children referred to neuropsychiatric evaluations. We are seeking a motivated candidate who will appreciate the importance of this role and work diligently and efficiently to achieve our goals.
Other aspects of the position will include activities that support participant recruitment, study logistics and the dissemination of data through manuscripts and presentations. There are also weekly lab meetings and opportunities to attend talks and seminars that will provide context/ background for the work. The position is ideal for students who are interested in clinical child and adolescent psychology, child psychiatry, neuropsychological and psychiatric assessment and/or the biological basis of psychopathology. The successful candidate will be a clear and effective communicator and demonstrate excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. The majority of the position involves on site work but remote work is occasionally possible.
